Nothing says southern charm quite like Savannah and Charleston. Charleston lies on a peninsula between two rivers and fronts the Charleston Harbor. It has more homes on the National Register than any other city and is home to Fort Sumter, location of the first conflict of the Civil War. Savannah is unique, famous for its "pocket parks" and squares laid out by founder General James Oglethorpe in the early 1700s. Savannah is also the home town of the founder of Girl Scouts, Juliette Gordon Low. These two cities represent the quintessential idea of "southern-ness" and we love visiting this area. We know you will too!
