Becoming part of the WTT community is so much more than just taking a tour. At Women Traveling Together, we provide a place where women who want to travel can connect with other like-minded women. It's a supportive and welcoming environment where you can meet women from around the country, and often in your local area, who have already discovered the benefits of having travel friends. While you may come solo, you'll never feel alone.

Who Travels With WTT

The question we are asked repeatedly is: "Will I fit in with the other women?" The truth is, our travelers have more in common than just being women who want to see the world.

WTT Women...

Are as young as 21 and up. We do not have an upper age limit.
Represent all marital statuses.
Hail from any of the 50 states or Canada, and reside in both small towns and major cities.
Have established careers, are entrepreneurs, or are recently retired.
Like to explore on foot, experiencing a destination more deeply than through the window of a bus.
Want to see one another succeed and support others when trying new things or pushing comfort zones.
Enjoy sharing the travel experience and have little desire to go it alone.

First Time Travelers

Any time you do something for the first time, it's bound to feel unfamiliar and possibly confusing. At WTT we recognize that when you feel informed and know what to expect, you'll be more comfortable and confident with your decision to travel with us.

Traveler Support System: We understand the need to individually support each woman as she puts her trust in WTT. We offer each woman as much support as she needs to feel comfortable and informed, both prior to and during her travels. You'll have a personal point of contact for questions or assurance prior to your trip, and an experienced Tour Director accompanying you on the tour.

Regular Communication: Your Program Manager will email you regularly, providing information specific to the needs of the tour. She might remind you of upcoming important dates, provide directions for obtaining necessary travel visas, or convey developments about the destination that may impact the tour.

Travel Independently Together: Traveling unaccompanied does not have to be a solitary experience. WTT takes you comfortably from tour sign-up to departure. Both your Program Manager and Tour Director work to deliver support and guidance. After more than two decades of offering tours for solo women travelers, we know a thing or two about the kind of support women want.
