Itinerary
Tuesday, 06 October 2026: Arrive St. George, Utah; Welcome Dinner (D)
Schedule your arrival into St. George Regional Airport, the starting point to this tour, and plan to arrive no later than 4:00pm. Take local transportation to the hotel. Alternatively, you can opt to fly into Las Vegas (LAS) and arrange transportation to St George. There are several shuttle companies that run the route between LAS and St. George. The tour begins at 6:00pm in the hotel lobby. After introductions we will enjoy a Welcome Dinner at a nearby restaurant. Overnight St. George - 1 night
Wednesday, 07 October 2026: Travel to Bryce Canyon (B,D)
We're off to Bryce Canyon National Park today. Southern Utah is a geologic wonderland that offers some of the most fascinating and breathtaking landscapes to be found anywhere so sit back and enjoy the scenery out the window. We will first stop at the Visitor Center to get oriented and plan our time here. Bryce Canyon is not a single canyon, but a series of natural amphitheaters or bowls, carved into the edge of a high plateau. After checking into our hotel, we'll gather for a casual dinner together. Overnight Bryce Canyon – 2 nights
Thursday, 08 October 2026: Free Day in Bryce Canyon (B)
Today is yours to explore this relatively compact national park as you wish. In one day, you can cover a lot of ground. You might opt to hike the leisurely 1.3 mile Navajo Trail and walk among the hoodoos, spires of rock that form when ice and rainwater wear away the limestone. Peek-A-Boo Loop Trail is one of the most popular hikes in the park as it descends into the heart of the Bryce Amphitheater where the magic of the canyon is at its most pronounced. As you walk down into the canyon, a formation called the "Wall of Windows" appears above. This monstrous slab of limestone has been punctured with gaping holes that let the bright blue sky peek through. Or perhaps you'd just prefer to walk along the rim taking in the expansive views down into the amphitheater. Your Tour Leader can provide guidance and help pair travelers with similar hiking goals.
Friday, 09 October 2026: Scenic Drive to Zion National Park (B,D)
We depart Bryce this morning destined for Zion National Park. This is such a scenic drive, you won't want it to end. We will make a brief stop at the park's Visitor Center to get our bearings, see what ranger talks might be available, and make plans for tomorrow. Then we will head to our hotel in Springdale to drop our luggage, though it will be too early to check in. You can opt to familiarize yourself with Springdale or even stretch your legs with an afternoon hike. We'll gather this evening for a very casual dinner. Overnight Springdale, UT – 2 nights
Saturday, 10 October 2026: Explore Zion National Park with Scenic Walk; Free Time (B)
The entire day is devoted to spending time in this amazing national park. To best experience Zion, hike the varied trails throughout the park's unique sandstone cliffs, which range in color and have been described as sand castles decorating the desert canyons. You may want to get an early start to try to beat the heat and crowds. Your Tour Leader can suggest hikes or activities and help pair travelers with similar hiking interests and abilities. Today is whatever you make of it.
Sunday, 11 October 2026: Free Morning in Zion; Return to St. George; Farewell Dinner (B,D)
There will be time to return to the park one last time this morning. This afternoon, we make our way back to St. George. We'll gather for one last Farewell Dinner and reminisce our week's adventures. Overnight St. George - 1 night
Monday, 12 October 2026: Return Home (B)
Sadly, our time together has come to an end. Schedule your return from St. George Regional Airport at a time that is convenient for you. Alternatively, you can arrange to fly out of Las Vegas (LAS) if it provides better flight options, but you will need to book a shuttle service to take you from St. George to the Las Vegas airport. It takes about 2.5hours to make the drive from St. George to Las Vegas, so be sure to factor that in.

- Select "No, I do not wish to share a room" if you want to have your own room. Additional costs apply.
- All shared rooms have 2 beds
- All shared rooms are non-smoking
- No special requests about your roommate can be accommodated

What clothing and items should I pack for this trip?
For This Tour You May Want—
- Hat, sunglasses and sunscreen
- Refillable water bottle
- Sturdy walking or trail shoes with good tread
- Day pack
- Swimsuit—hotels have pools
- Lightweight, long-sleeve shirt for sun protection
- Lip Balm
- Water shoes
- Collapsible hiking pole
- Warm fleece
Good Packing Habits—
- Bring what you need to get a good night's sleep, such as ear plugs, white noise generator, sleeping aids, etc. Unfamiliar noises of all types can disrupt your rest.
- Pack a limited amount of comfortable, casual clothing that layer and coordinate. Your fellow travelers will not mind or even notice – seeing you in the same clothing.
- Bring only two pairs of everyday shoes: one pair of well-broken-in walking shoes, and a second pair that could do double-duty as a walking shoe or a slightly dressy shoe.
- Pare down your beauty regimen to the bare minimum and always pack travel-sized toiletries.
- Pack medication in your carry-on and pack only as much as needed for the duration of your tour plus a few extra days as a precaution.
What are the luggage restrictions for this tour?
We will use the WTT Coach. Luggage restrictions are driven by the physical space limitations of the vehicle and the requirement that travelers manage their belongings on their own.
- It is best to travel as lightly as possible. Most travelers regret when they have packed too much.
- You may bring one suitcase plus small shoulder bag/day pack/purse.
- Maximum suitcase size: 22-24 inches in height. This is the size of bag that fits into the overhead bins of aircraft. Suitcases larger than this will not fit properly in the WTT coach; don't bring them.
- The weight of your bag should not exceed 30 pounds as you will need to lift it into the coach luggage compartment.
- You are responsible for managing your own belongings. We expect you to take your belongings from the coach to your room and to bring it back to the coach and load it on days we change hotels. We do not provide luggage pulls; they are not safe and are inconvenient. The possibility of steps exist at most hotel entrances.
How much money should I bring on this tour?
Only you can determine the optimum amount of cash to take on tour. When budgeting for out-of-pocket expenses, there are several aspects to consider: the number of meals you are responsible for, the amount of money you like to have on-hand for snacks and drinks, and your individual shopping interests and habits. Be sure to keep cash on hand for sharing restaurant tabs, cabs, tips, and smaller purchases. More and more, restaurants are no longer allowing groups to split the bill. Therefore, you might want to have cash-on-hand for meals on your own when dining with others in the group.
What are the tipping guidelines for this tour?
- You are responsible for tipping waitstaff, porters, or other individuals who provide a service to you at the hotel, or other public locations.
- You may want to tip your WTT Tour Leader for an outstanding job. The amount is entirely a personal preference. If you'd like a guideline, consider $8-$10 per day.
