Michigan is an undiscovered gem of a state with beautiful places to explore. We begin in Grand Rapids and explore all this city has to offer including a visit to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. No trip to Michigan would be complete without a stay on Mackinac Island where transportation is by horse-drawn carriage. We'll enjoy afternoon tea at the Grand Hotel, a must-do activity on the island.  Our two nights on Mackinac Island will give you plenty of time to explore. We conclude driving along the shores of Lake Michigan, viewing the magnificant beaches, the vineyards and more, arriving in Traverse City. You're in for a treat!
