Aug 27 - Sep 2, 2028The Lower Salmon River in Idaho was home to the Nez Perce Indian Tribe for thousands of years. The river provided an abundant food source, salmon of course, and was considered sacred. In later history (1860s) gold was found along the river and miners began to flood the area with dreams of profiting from the "Gold Rush". Today the Lower Salmon is a popular river for recreation and rafting. The river's beaches are known to be some of the most beautiful white sand river beaches the US has to offer. We'll take in all that nature has to offer as we step out of every day society, turn off our cell phones and truly get away from it all. Come experience the thrill of rafting the Lower Salmon!
