Moorish influence appears in both countries through gorgeous horseshoe arches, geometric patterns, and courtyards. Bring your walking shoes! We begin in Madrid, Spain's capital, where you'll wander through its storied historic center. Granada, Seville, and Cordoba each showcase magnificent UNESCO heritage sites. Then enjoy a scenic drive south to glimpse Gibraltar, that fascinating strategic outpost overlooking the Mediterranean's entrance, still under English rule. We'll meander along the coastline into Portugal to relax on the lovely Algarve coast before arriving in Lisbon, Portugal's capital and the ideal spot to complete our adventure!
