Michigan is filled with natural beauty: the nation’s longest freshwater coastline, 300,000 acres of sand dunes, and 65,000 lakes and ponds. It has also played a vital role as the birthplace of Motown and automobile innovation. We begin in Grand Rapids and travel to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Of course, no trip would be complete without a stay on car-free Mackinac Island where we'll explore by horse-drawn carriage and indulge in afternoon tea at the famed Grand Hotel. We end near Detroit with a visit to the The Henry Ford Museum and Factory to gain an appreciation of America’s celebrated manufacturing past, present, and future. Join us for an escape to this undiscovered gem of a state!
