Most importantly, they are committed to helping every woman get the most from her vacation. In fact, 30% of our Tour Leaders started as WTT travelers. They’ve walked in your shoes. And the other 70%? They’re well-traveled women, trained by WTT, who are just as passionate about ensuring your travel dreams are realized.

The WTT Tour Leader is an Integral Part of your Tour Experience

• You’ll be introduced to your Tour Leader about 3 weeks before the tour begins. She will email the group with last minute updates and answer any remaining questions.
• An important element to any WTT tour is the Welcome Meeting. Your Tour Leader will make introductions, explain group courtesies and help everyone get acquainted.
• The Tour Leader is responsible for keeping the group on schedule, interacting with local guides, and communicating regularly with the group.
• Meals together are opportunities for the group to socialize and bond. Your Tour Leader makes or approves most of the restaurant choices with an eye to making each meal an experience.
• In most cases, your Tour Leader will handle the tipping of local guides on behalf of the group, so you don’t have to think about it. Tipping travelers are responsible for is listed under the Destination Information Blue Bar for your tour.
• Many tours have blocks of personal time. Your Tour Leader will offer suggestions on how to make the most of the personal time as well as help connect travelers with similar interests.
• WTT Tour Leaders are always researching and seeking out opportunities for spontaneity that can add to your tour experience.
• Should you have a problem you need assistance solving, your Tour Leader is available to facilitate problem resolution.
• After the tour concludes you’ll hear from your Tour Leader one final time in her official capacity, but it’s common for travelers and Tour Leaders to continue the friendship they started on tour.
