We’re Not For Everyone

At Women Traveling Together® we have a certain style of travel, which is what makes traveling with WTT a unique experience. Everyone enjoys the experience more when we’re all on the same page. We aim to travel as good friends would, respecting one another and appreciating the diversity that each person brings to the group. We want you to make an informed decision. Ask yourself: Does WTT offer what I am looking for in a travel experience?

WTT’s Travel Style
  • Nimbleness.   We’re on the move! Every traveler must manage her own luggage when we’re traversing train stations or loading the coach for the next destination. If you can’t carry it, you’ve packed too much!
  • Cooperation.   We encourage each woman to contribute her skills and talents to ensure the success of the tour. From spotting wildlife to sharing history, small and thoughtful contributions improve the experience for all.
  • Diversity.   Women on WTT tours come from all over the US and Canada, and even from other countries. Our backgrounds and life experiences differ but ultimately we have the most important thing in common—the desire to see the destination and the determination not to wait for others to fullfill our travel goals.
You’ll fit right in if you…
  • ...are easy-going, agreeable and flexible.   The nature of travel is inherently unpredictable.
  • ...have a sense of adventure.   Be willing to try new things and be supportive.
  • ...travel light.   We don’t use porters and we don’t do luggage pulls. We manage our own belongings.
  • ...are helpful and willing to pitch in.   Your skills and knowledge can help the group.
  • …are comfortable exploring on foot.   The ability to walk at a comfortable pace and navigate stairs is a must.
  • ...are respectful.   Be considerate of roommates, other travelers, and the people and places you encounter.
  • …understand group travel requires a balance.   Individual wishes and group well-being can sometimes compete.
Please, Read the Tour Details

In addition to a detailed itinerary, every posted WTT tour spells out important details and reminders for the tour (accommodations, arrival and departure information, activity level required, etc.). Please, read this information carefully and critically. If you cannot meet the activity level requirements or do not like any of the tour’s logistics, you should not sign up.

WTT may not be right for you, and that’s okay. Travel solutions are not one-size fits all. If you are ever in doubt whether a WTT tour is a good fit for you, get in touch and ask.
